Bigger and better is what was promised for Cars & Coffee Sydney in Woolwich. They certainly delivered on their promise!
This was ’round 2′ for the Woolwich event at Clarkes Point Reserve. The first version was a success, but with a relatively small and short build up process, this was always going to be bigger. Cars & Coffee Sydney aficionados from across the city were ready & arrived in their dozens… Or should we say hundreds! The quality of cars that came along for the morning was astounding. As was the diversity. Everything from the latest and greatest Maclarens and Porsche’s, to lifted and loaded F150 Raptors and literally everything in between! The morning was every car nuts dream – with everyones appetite being catered for.
RollingStock was there in force, with a number of client cars wearing our Strasse, Vorsteiner & other wheels – along with some other cars that have wheels in the making over in the US! Keen eyes may have spotted a Maclaren 650S and a Porsche GTR RS as part of our stand! Keep an eye out for those in the near future!!
The downside of Cars & Coffee Sydney was that the event seems to have grown a little too quickly! The service was slow, the entry was slow and more unfortunately, the car park resembled a big farm by the end of the event. Very heavy rain the day prior meant the surface was ‘soft’ to say the least. Whilst this gave the punters plenty to laugh at as entrants got bogged up to their axles – it wasn’t something Hunters Hill Council was going to like! We suspect they may not let this one happen again. But boy, it was fun while it lasted!
A HUGE thank you to the organisers of the event who put in all of the effort and also to all of the photographers who copped mud slinging into their lenses to capture the event for everyone who couldn’t make it! Cars & Coffee Sydney = a success!
