Looking for Ferrari Wheels? The Ferrari 458 Speciale is, unsurprisingly – something special. Its a big deal,a very big deal. It’s a a serious car and a guaranteed collectors vehicle. Unfortunately, its also something that we will probably never see again. The last of the Atmo V8 for Ferrari? Maybe. Probably, to be honest! Its a vehicle that is a reflection of Ferrari in its current form. Its hardcore, its loud, its intimidating. Yet, at the same time its also intuitive and its drive-able, even at 9/10ths! The balance between performance and usability is what every car maker years for. Its something that has taken Ferrari many many years to achieve but in this Speciale, they certainly have reached their goal of building a street able supercar.
What does a car like the 458 Speciale lack? Not much! Some will say its perfect!
If you ask us here at RollingStock…. We would say its the wheel and tyre department that could use improvement! The factory fitment on the 458 Speciale is 20×9 front and 20×11 rear. Whilst reasonable, its not perfect – which is what Ferrari Wheels should be! Given the track focused intentions of this beast – every centimeter of tread counts. Specifically in the rear, given that those rear tyres will have a hard task harnessing those 600 Horsepower on their own! At both ends, the car allows a small amount of further inner clearance, and a significant amount of outer clearance to play with, especially in the back!
Enter, Strasse Forged. Ferrari wheels done right! The team from Strasse in Miami were tasked with handling the set up for this drop dead gorgeous 458 Speciale. The vehicle was inspected, measurements taken and a soon enough, set of Strasse Forged SM5R Deep Concave, Carbon Fiber edition Monoblocks were created. A mouthful – but worthy of such a title! These are what Ferrari wheels should fit like!
The Strasse fitment on this vehicle is 21×9.5 front and a massive 21×12.5 in the rear. As mentioned, its the rear that allowed a significant amount of outer clearance. The masterfully achieved Strasse offsets get the wheel sitting EXACTLY where it should be. These Ferrari Wheels are now worthy of such a special machine.
