Wakefield Park in Goulburn is a 2.2km racing circuit that attracts racing minded enthusiast of many kinds. Wakefield Park was built with club motorsport firmly in mind, and soon became a popular venue for track days and supersprints.
On the 24th June the team at RollingStock, our close friends and customers made our way out to Wakefield Park in Goulburn to tear it up for the day. The track day started off nice and early at 8am in breezy conditions down in Goulburn. The day started with some hot laps to warm up the rubber of all participating cars.
Around midday things started to get serious with participants aiming to break personal best times and times in general set for the day. Competition levels were high, the rubber was burning on all levels and many speedometers were nearing their limits.
The Team at RollingStock will be regularly organizing and attending scheduled track days at raceways around Sydney such as Wakefield Park. Our organized days are a good way for people who wouldn’t have normally had the opportunity to attend a racetrack to get first hand experience in being exposed to and driving on a race course.
