The owner of this rip snorting V8 came to us looking for something with some mega dish for his Sakhir Orange BMW M6! Not only did we need mega dish – but also some serious concave. Given the amount of room on offer under the guards of this Beemer, we had to go custom to take full advantage! Decision made! Strasse Forged and the timeless SP5R Deep Concave wheel were perfect for this build. The wheels in our custom specs allowed a huge amount of lip with very deep concave as well. Caliper clearance is also precisely catered for and these fit like a glove in every regard!
Given the overall size of the car, a 21″ diameter was chosen. This size seems to be the sweet spot for the F13 M6. It allows a ride that is still subtle and compliant, whilst giving the visual kick that the car desperately needs! A dark finish was always a requirement for this wheel as it had to contrast against the awesome Sakhir Orange paintwork. To ensure that the intricate details of the SP5R did not go unnoticed, we decided to colour match the wheel detailing in Sakhir orange. A very small, yet hugely effective touch! We also blended more than one shade of black to ensure that the 3 pieces of this wheel all stood apart from one another.
Whilst our Kiwi counterparts don’t build that many tough exotics, they seem to know a thing or two about HOW to do it. This example is no different! Fitted with some minimalist but effective engine mods including a full Supersprint Exhaust, the MSR intakes and finished off with a custom tune – this car has more than enough ponies under the bonnet to tear its newly required 21″ tyres apart! The subtle yet perfectly coordinated choice of the Strasse SP5R really compliment the smooth lines of this Grand Tourer M6 & finish it off nicely.

Just as quickly as ‘stage 1’ of this car was complete, stage 2 began! Keep an eye on our pages for updates on its ‘makeover’. We can’t say too much, but what we can say is that it will make this M6 look like an M4 🙂
