McLaren 650S wheels have never looked so good! Here at RollingStock.com.au we are lucky enough to work with some fantastic people and on their amazing vehicles. The McLaren 650S Spider you see here, will go down as one of our all time favorites. When approached by the owner to build something for his brand new 650S, the mandate went unspoken. We knew that the best of the best would only suffice and for that reason Strasse Forged was nominated to create something truly world class.
SUPERCAR is what immediately comes to mind when one views the silhouette of the McLaren 650S Spider. However, in reality its clearly evident that the original Mclaren 650S wheels simply do not fill out the guards adequately. Extra width, height and concavity were required to solve this issue and for that reason a 3 piece wheel was employed. The 3 piece configuration ensures that we are able to completely maximise all 3 of those requirements. Nothing will be able to achieve the same level of depth that a 3 piece wheel can provide! In keeping with the high end theme – a mixture of different textured titanium finishes were chosen. The floating spoke design is unmistakably intricate. The way the wheel face drapes itself delicately over the stepped lip ensures that bystanders know they are viewing something extravagant.
Combined with a subtle suspension enhancement, this 650S is literally chalk and cheese when sitting alongside a factory delivered vehicle. The transformation is so significant you would be lead to believe that the silver car below is a special edition. You will notice that the rear quarters become exaggerated and the masculine lines of the car receive a healthy dose of banned substances! Imagine a cross between a male model and a Mr Olympia contestant! As wide and staunch as they come – yet 100% sophistication from every single angle.
