The Lotus Exige S V6. An absolute demon of a thing. Raw – Minimalist – Uncompromising – Focused. Add to that the stunning new Strasse SV2 Deep Concave Duoblock and all of a sudden, this track warrior morphs onto a full scale supercar! If looks could kill, then this Exige would be a mass murdered because it has the road presence of supercars that are twice its size!
After a number of discussions with the owner, RollingStock began putting together the details for an order of the world’s first set of the Strasse SV2 Deep Concave Duoblock wheel! The Lotus is one of the most unique cars worldwide when it comes to wheel fitments! Miss-matching diameters, different stud patterns, mixed hub sizes – this thing really is a one off! Careful measurements were taken and the specs were decided upon.
The Strasse SV2 Deep Concave Duoblock would be built in 18” front and 19” rear with 8.5” up front and a massive 10” rear fitments to maximise traction on this already agile machine. Colours would be Satin Black and the amazingly eye catching anodized red!
To stay subtle yet stand out was something we aimed to do on this particular vehicle. It might sound like the impossible – but this Exige S shows that it is indeed achievable and we think the end result was a big success. Not only do the new specs completely transform the way the car ‘holds itself’ aesthetically – but the colour combination and the design of the brand new SV2 look absolutely right at home!
The featherweight construction of this brand new SV2, combined with their class leading strength mean that they are perfectly suited to the track inspired Lotus. This car demands a wheel and tyre set up that can perform and this package does exactly that. The aesthetic upgrade that it brings is simply the icing on the cake!!
