This Volkswagen Golf MK8 GTI rolled out of the Volkswagen Dealership and straight into the Rollingstock Workship and we instantly ditched the OEM gear and added some much needed essentials. We removed the OEM wheels and fitted the Semi Forged Koya SF11 wheels finished in a stunning US Burnt Bronze. The US Burnt Bronze are not a bright tinge of bronze as many bronze wheels on the market come and give off a more gunmetal shade of bronze, just enough to provide that sleek look that isn’t over the top.
The Koya Semi Forged range also weigh noticeably lighter than the OEM counterpart wheels being a semi forged wheel. The Koya SF11 were then wrapped in a Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyre to give the ultimate grip.
We then moved over to the suspension, we replaced the standard OEM suspension with an Eibach Lowered Suspension Kit to drop it a tad more to the ground. After we were satisfied with the suspension, we moved onto the cosmetics, we added a full Maxton Bodykit consisting of a Front Splitter, Side Skirt and a Rear Diffuser to complete the overall look on the new MK8. Being so new to the Australian Market, the specifications of the MK8 are new and alot of R&D and trial and error happen for any new cars to the market.
